I just saw Roger's Ted Talk - and fortunately, it was already a year old so I didn't have to wait a year for his book to come out like the people in his audience had to. I just started digging into his exercise movements, but am really enjoying them so far. I really like how each movement starts out simple and then you progressively work your way up to more demanding versions of it. Not surprising, much of my body is no longer so strong or flexible as it used to be, but I trust that Roger is going to fix that! :)

I have been in pain on the right side of my body, where I was dragged on concrete and on my right shoulder since a brutal mugging in 2010. For the last 9 years I have tried everything, from Yoga to constant chiropractic visits to alleviate the pain. Problem was that those fixes were temporary at best, requiring more practice, more visits for minutes of relief.I also, went to the gym religiously, thinking that the better built my shoulders were, the more muscle I added the less pain I would eventually feel. Because those muscles would pull my bone back into place. I was fixated with this solution. But all I was doing was working out with my body in the wrong alignment. Creating so much more pain.No doctor ever told me how to fix this permanently. I was only given temporary solutions. Which was even more frustrating.When reading the opening pages, I started to take stock of my bones, not my muscles. As I started to play around with feeling movement on my bones and joints, I became aware that I held the right side of my body as if it were always ready to be attacked. I had never noticed that psychological effect before, and it is where the revelation came in.This book illuminating so much about my body and my movement, about how I have used it but also about how I'm using it wrong. On my 7th day of using the book,(which I will admit has been slow going, years of doing the wrong thing have left it extremely tight, particularly on that right side.) But on the 7th day, my right shoulder slipped back into place. And I've had the first 24 hours of pain free movement on my shoulder in 9 years.I am going to work through the frustration of my body tightness. I am going to dedicate time to making my bones align, and treating them as the foundation of my movement. To play, to get to know what my body wants to be, where it wants to rest and play. I'm going to reclaim not just my body prior to the mugging, but the one I was meant to have all along.I couldn't recommend it enough!

Roger is spot on, he has great insight about why we are increasingly having musculoskeletal issues and how to solve those issues. Best of all he delivers in a fun way. There's plenty of exercises, if some don't work for you, no worries, I'm sure you'll find some that do. The Frampton Method really does work, all you need is yourself and a good amount of commitment. No memberships and no equipment.

This book is everything it claims to be. It’s very clear, not very verbose, and the progressions are fluid. Everything I had expected from the book. And I have not experienced any kind of discomfort from following the different levels.

This book has added a redefining bonus to my yoga life ! Everyone should move their bodies in ways we fail to as we get older and this book shows you so much more you can do to have a healthy body.

I think this form of exercise has been overlooked. It’s not just high impact exercise alone that can get you fit and toned. I think the book is helpful in getting your body in shape, and also shows you that you don’t need to be in the gym to work out. Follow Roger on Instagram for other great examples of exercise routines. That’s how I initially found him.

Great book! The exercices are really tough and I feel the tension every time. The only think to keep in mind is that it definitely takes more than 10 min even if you are pretty fit.
